buying shoes for my son who has flat feet?
Well my 6 year old son Luke always complained his shoes "felt weird" and I looked at his feet, I thought they were fine, just had a small arch, but I took him to the doctor, who said he has flat feet, and that it's normal and that it won't really affect him.
Do I need to buy special shoes or something to put in his shoes now?
He's a 11 and a half in the little kid's shoe sizes.

Most sneakers will feel weird on him because they have an arch support pressing into an arch that just isn't there. I have flat feet and trying to wear sneakers with a large arch feels like standing on a tennis ball. Look for sneakers with a less pronounced arch (converses are good) to make him feel more comfortable.
